we have two written test , two TI, and One HR interview.

in first written test there were 40 questions. out of which 15 from quantitive apptitude, and LR , remaning were from technical subject, like c, c++, ds, os, dbms etc.

in second written test there were a programing round in which they given two program to write on paper ( programs are like made by Linklist and Array)

In both TI the main emphasis on C, DS;

final and last round was HR Interview.

hi all,

i attented CTS today. The pattern was different from the previous ones and R.S Agarwal dint help this time.
20 mins vocabulary, 20mins mental ability, 20 mins analtycal and arithmetic mixed.

Vocabulary was very easy. 2 passages were also given.
i dont remember most of the questions. Some of them are:

1) if + changed to / and - changed to * then which of the following is TRUE - type of questions (5 questions in this type)

2) Learn the SET THEORY as 5 questions were asked

3) the mental abilty was also easy to some extent eg: CCCC9CC9, CCC9CC9,CCCC9CC9 - We have to shade answer a if all three are same else b if 1st and 2nd term are same etc;

4) 3 problems like x+y>1 i) if x , y are positive numbers ii) x=y

we have to tell whether the answer can be got from i or ii or both i and ii or neither from both

thats all i can rember.. sorry guys..

hi

the pattern for DELL interview is quit simple. they only focus more on yuor stability. they ask same questions again and again to check ur stability.
1st round is simple introduction round where they check ur communication skills.
2nd round written test.one is of english and other test has 10 ques of computer hardware. those ques are very simple.
3rd round is one on one first HR session. they will ask u WHY U WANNA JOIN DELL? and they will ask the same ques in diffways. abt family and interets.
4th round is telephonic interview. they check ur voice quality and ask questions like. gimmw 5 reasons why should DELL take u?? gimme 2 reasons why can i reject u?? uhave to be confident and firm tht DELL is only company u wanna join.
5th round is operations round. they ask basic computer terminology. evenif u dont know technically u can show confidence tht DELL training will help in technical.
6th round is typing round. they make u type a document and just check how many letters u can type in a min.
7th round is one on one second HR round where ur offered ur offer letters.

whole process is very simple u just need to be confident and firm. i hope this will help u. and if any fresher wants to give an interview they can let me know can schedule an interview. there are lot of vacancies in DELL as DELL Delhi site is also coming up. on 9th april infosys conducted the recruitment test in our college
JSSATE noida, the pattern was the aptitude and the english paper
the apptitude consisted of 10 puzzles in 60 min and the english paper
was of 45 questions in 30 min

I wrote the NTPC exam held on april 9th,2006(Electronics Stream)
I faced the problem of "knowing the syllabus and the pattern" of it before
the exam.I was not able to find the correct guidance in any of these grps.So
i thought I would share mine so that it would be useful for the future
aspirants of NTPC.

First 120 question on technical and 50 questions on general aptitude.
1/3 negative marks for all the questions.
2 hours exam.(No calculator allowed)
Question paper along with the key sheet should be handed over to the
invigilator after the end of exam.

fill in the sentences with the most suitable word type of questions.

Tips:Time management is very important.Since most of the technical questions
are theoretical,complete them quickly and do well in the aptitude section.
Individual cut off in each of the 2 sections is necessary.
i don't know the actual cut off though.

I am sreenivasan from HYDERABAD, i got the the call form CTS for written test on 8th april in coimbatore. I have cleared my written Tech and awaiting for the results of my HR. that would be put on 12th 8.00PM in CTS web site. Let me brief my experience

the location was kumaraguru colege of Technology.

there were 3 batches 9.00a.m, 12.00 and 2.00pm

Mine was First Batch.

This was the first time CTS went for a very different pattern.
It has given the written test to conduct for a consultancy of bangalore MERIT TRAC

the paper consisted of 3 sections

1. Verbal Ability - 25 questions
2.Analitical Ability- 25 questions
3.Mental Ability-20 questions

there was a Cut off for each section
i came to know that they increased the cutoff for every batch i.e 12 to 16

All the sections where very easy, actually there is no need for any preparation, only thing is u have to manage time(every body can coz its dam easy).and attend all questions . THERE IS NO NEGATIVE MARKING

first section consist of few english questions like choose the artical, fill the correct word and 2 passages.

The questrions were as easy as
eg: His leprosy leg was infeasible_____ pain.
a) to b) for c) .....

Second section has
General questions like

Venn diagrams
eg:
a family went for a picnic. 20% of them ate apples, 30% for them ate oranges, 40% of the age grapes. 10% of ate all the three. 12 % ate apples and oranges. 14% ate apples and grapes.10% of the ate grapes and oranges.
Q1. how many ate only apples
Q2 how many ate only grapes
Q3 how many ate none

there were 3 questions like this

there was a cube problem
a cube which is painted all side is divided into 125 parts

Q How many single side painted
Q How many 2 sided
Q how many 3 sided
Q how many none

this is very easy if u use the formulae
Total no.of cubes= n3
exactly one face=6*(n-2)whole square
exactly two faces painted=12(n-2)
no face painted =(n-2)whole cube

so on.....

just normal preparation is enough

the 3rd section is very easy mental ability

in some language * means + , + means / ,- means - and so on
then what is
2+4*3/5 is

4 questions like this

there were silly questions like observation

Hi friends,
I got placed in Accenture through the walk-in
held in Jepiyar College, Chennai on April 1st and 2nd.
I am a 2005 pass-out with an aggregate of just 71 %.
Nearly 5000 people had attended&;.First,
only students of the 20 Colleges which had already
registered were allowed to go inside..&;Without
any hopes of writing test, we simply waited there from
morning 7.30 to noon 12. At 12, they called us inside.


First round was Aptitude Test;It was easy.
It consisted of three sections : verbal, analytical
and mental ability.
Second round was GD. Many were eliminated in this
round. After GD, they asked me to come on next dat i,e
April 2nd
Third round was HR interview.. They asked about
one of my projects…They didn&;t go deep
into it. Then general HR questions like introduction
about myself, about my family, how do I c myself after
5 years, Y Accenture, willingness to relocate, my
positive qualities etc..
HR round was cool..But, still many were
eliminated. They observed so many other factors like
the format and meaning of our mail IDs, dress code,
way of communication etc...
Final round was the Technical Interview. The
interviewer asked me one or two basic questions in
O.S., RDBMS, pointers and about my project. He then
asked me to write a program and told me to explain its
working in detail. Technical Interview was easy. Only
those candidates who couldn;t write the program
were eliminated.

Just 5 minutes, after the Technical Interview they
informed me that I have been selected. They asked me
to wait for sometime and gave us the offer letter
immediately. Joining on 17th April.

Apti paper consist of 45 question and there was no english no c/c++ question only R S agarwal type questions.some question was from shakuntla devi also.In in hour we have to solve the apti paper.
for group disscussion they r checking that whether u can speak english or not.Those who spoke 3 or 4 sentences with confident got selected in GD.Be cool in GD and try give chance to other also.thay r giving general topic only.
written communication test is not an elimination round.
In technical interview they asked simple question only.
hr was also simple.
